What is Industrial Design Engineering?

During the Bachelor’s programme in Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente, you will learn to design or improve products using technical insights, creativity and a feel for consumer behaviour. In this context, that means products that are functional and attractive. But there is more to it than that: you also have to be able to manufacture your design at a reasonable cost price, the product must be practical, and properly transportable. The Industrial Design Enginering course prepares you for all those aspects.
